Split Pea Soup Mix - 400g from Kanata Soup
A Canadian classic.
A healthier version of a traditional Quebecois yellow split pea soup. You
may think you don’t like pea soup, but we have converted many with this one. Give it a try!
Ingredients:
Split peas, gravy mix, chicken soup base, bacon bits, celery seed, minced onion, parsley and bay leaf.
Allergen: Milk, soy.
Directions:
In a large stockpot, put 6 cups water and entire bag ingredients.
Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 60 to 90 minutes, stirring often to ensure peas do not stick. Remove bay leaf before serving.
